CATI Notary Services can notarize various types of documents, including affidavits, power of attorney, deeds, contracts, and more.


You must present a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID card, passport, or another acceptable form of government identification.


Yes! We travel to homes, hospitals, nursing homes, hospice settings, attorney offices, and businesses — evenings, late nights, and weekends available.


By law, the maximum fee for a notarial act is $5 per act. Travel and convenience fees are separate, not set by law, and agreed upon in advance.

Yes. South Carolina requires that all signers appear physically before the notary. Remote Online Notarization is not allowed in the state.


No. South Carolina notaries cannot draft, select, or give advice about legal documents. You must provide your completed documents. We can only notarize signatures.


No. South Carolina notaries cannot certify copies of documents or photographs. The only exception is if we are registered as an Electronic Notary, we may certify a tangible copy of an electronic record.


No. Our jurisdiction is limited to South Carolina. All notarial acts must be performed within the state.


Yes. South Carolina notaries are authorized to solemnize marriages.
